Everest Panorama Trek is a short trekking trip to the Everest region. The trek that goes up to Tengboche village is a short but beautiful exploration of the culture and magnificent mountains in the Everest region. Although the trek goes only half way to the Everest base camp, it will bring you the view of Mt. Everest and other marvelous mountains. 
 
You can explore the wonderful culture, natural scenery and enjoy the awesome Himalayan views. As you trek along the Dudh Koshi River bank and then onwards on the valley, you cross several suspension bridges along the trail towards Namche Bazar. You can explore and experience the amazing Sherpa culture of the region mostly at Namche Bazar. You can enjoy the views of mountains like Thamserku, Kongde, Amadablam and several other mountains along with Lhotse and Mt. Everest. 
 
Although a short trip in the Everest region, this trek brings you some unbelievable views on earth, fascinating Sherpa culture, and peaceful environment. You can also explore the Tengboche monastery for its grandeur and importance in local life. It is an ideal trip for the adventure trekkers with less time availability to trek all the way up to the base camp to enjoy the Everest grandeur.

Itinerary

  • Day 1
    Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,350 m)

    It is the first day of trip and your arrival day in Kathmandu Nepal. When you land at the airport in Kathmandu and come out at the arrival lounge, our company representative will welcome you with a warm smile. Then, we will drive you to the trip hotel where you can spend relaxing time. We will have a meeting in the evening to talk about the trip in details.

  • Day 2
    Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
    After you take your breakfast, a beautiful day sightseeing tour of heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley is due today. Visit Swoyambhunath – the monkey temple; Patan Durbar Square – the medieval palace square; Pashupatinath – the open cremation ground for Hindus; and Boudhanath – the biggest Buddhist stupa. 
     
  • Day 3
    Kathmandu – Lukla 2,860m – Phakding 2640m
    Grab your early morning breakfast and drive to airport to board the flight to Lukla to enter Everest region. After a half hour of incredible flight, you will land at Lukla. It’s also the first day of trekking in the Everest region. Start trekking towards Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River. Walk past Buddhist prayer walls called mani walls, prayer flags, prayer wheels and beautiful nature. 
    Overnight stay at Phakding.
     
  • Day 4
    Phakding – Namche 3,440m
    Enjoy your breakfast and start the trek to Namche bazar. Trek up towards Monjo along the Dudh Koshi river valley where you need to check into the Sagarmatha National Park counter to be able to walk further higher. Cross several suspension bridges and traverse the winding uphill trail to Namche bazar, the bustling Sherpa village in the region. Namche is also the most happening village in the Everest trail. 
    Stay overnight at Namche.
     
  • Day 5
    Acclimatization Hike
    Once you take your breakfast and it’s time to get ready for an acclimatization hike that is necessary at this elevation to go even further higher towards the base camp. Hike up to the Everest view point to have the first ever glimpse of the highest mountain in the world. (You will have an option to hike to Thame, a beautiful Sherpa village, as well). Later return back to Namche to spend overnight.
     
  • Day 6
    Namche – Tengboche 3,860m
    Most of the section of the walk today is uphill towards Tengboche. Start the walk for the day after breakfast and enjoy the adventure with mesmerizing views and serene surroundings. Map the trail mostly up and down in some parts to emerge finally into Tengboche. Once you reach Tengboche and settle into a guest house, set out to explore the famous Tengboche monastery. Enjoy the view of majestic mountain peaks.
     
  • Day 7
    Tengboche – Khumjung 3,790m
    Tengboche is the highest elevation on this trek. As a short trekking to get a glimpse of the Mt. Everest and other mighty Himalayan peaks in the region, you will be enjoying all the majestic views from Tengboche as the highest point. You trek down to Khumjung village where you can explore a monastery and surroundings. Stay overnight at Khumjung.
     
  • Day 8
    Khumjung – Monjo 2,835m
    Today, you trek all the way back down to Monjo, the point where you exit the Sagarmatha National Park. The trail passes through Namche Bazar. You can take a leisurely walk around once you reach Monjo.
     
  • Day 9
    Monjo – Lukla 2,860m
    Enjoy the last day of trek today while trekking to Lukla. Exit the national park check point and start trekking down towards Phakding village on the bank of Dudh Koshi River and walk further ahead to Lukla. Celebrate the joy of the end of this trekking adventure. Stay overnight at Lukla.
     
  • Day 10
    Lukla – Kathmandu
    It’s time to say goodbye to the Everest region now. Take a flight back to Kathmandu after several days of peaceful and adventurous moments in the Everest region. Once in Kathmandu, you can spend leisurely time walking around the streets or engaging yourself in the activities of your choice available Kathmandu. 
     
  • Day 11
    Departure Day
    Today is the final day of this trip and we will drive you to airport for the departure flight.
