Sarangkot Naudanda Hiking trip is one of the popular day hiking trips around Pokhara. When you are in Pokhara and want to get some walking experience, this trip is perfect choice. The hike is of about four hours and goes on almost flat dirt road. The hike passes through peaceful and beautiful villages that boast incredible view of Pokhara valley stretch. The ridgeline just above the road has breathtaking views of Annapurna range.
The trip starts early in the morning with a half hour drive to Sarangkot to join sunrise over the Annapurna range. After the sun rises, you will have breakfast break before starting the hike. The first part of the hike goes uphill for about twenty minutes and then goes on easy dirt road all the way through. When you reach Naudanda to finish the hike, you will again be welcomed by majestic mountain range. You will drive back to Pokhara on a scenic highway.
